There is a lot of dead limbs and leaves on the site. It keeps moisture in and that adds to the deterioration of the stones besides being unsightly. The sixth grade class worked hard in the morning, starting two debris piles.

These two debris piles are just a start. We have removed logs and limbs from about 20 percent of the graveyard. We have started raking up the leaves, too.
