This is one of the first marble markers we recorded. It is of Anna (b. Nov 17,1878; d. Jan 1, 1879) and Robie (b. Mar 9, 1880; d. June 5, 1880) Ross. The were the "Children of J[ames] & Isabell Ross. The grave had two footstones with the initials of each of the deceased children.

The carved motif on the headstone is that of two doves. The dove denotes Peace and Innocence and is often found on the headstones of children.
