Above (upper left) is Christena Davis' tombstone as we found it when we first started restoring McCortney Graveyard. It was the best marker in the yard. However, with some cleaning (using Phtoflo), it look much better (upper right). The epitaph was very difficult to read. The cleaning brought out the epitaph clearly: "Come poor sinners Christ invites you to partake his offered Grace." The other stones that are in worse shape will show even more dramatic improvement.
