The shades of reds on this German embossed card are still very vibrant. The center deep red is especially rich, which the web does not do justice. The card was mailed in 1909 from Arlington to Eliza Black, Amanda's mother. It was sent by Mrs. E. M. Pillman, with whom the Black were acquainted when they ran the hotel in Arlington.
