Sent by Bessie Pillman of Arlington to Amanda in 1908, The message on the back calls this "the latest view" of Arlington. The Pillmans and the Blacks had been friends for years. Lewis and Eliza Black, undoubtedly with help from Amanda, ran a hotel in Arlington before relocating to Waynesville.
