The 8th and 5th grade classes made a return trip to McCortney on this date. There were three objectives:

• Finish measuring the placement of the graves in the yard
• Continue cleaning markers
• Restore one 19th century grave in the Upland South tradition

Two teams finished measuring the placement of the graves in preparation for making a map of the yard. We are doing this by triangulation; measuring the marker's distance from two different points.
