These boys are leveling the base for a carved marble stone that had fallen out of the base.

The marble tablet marker is reset in the concrete base.

The marker No. 28. It is that of Lewis Wagoner, husband of Sarah Wagoner. He was born in 1817 and died in 1878. The marker is now level and plumb, after many years of being apart. The foot stone is not in the ground. We found the foot stone underground when excavating a nearby marker. It had somehow been moved and buried. This marker will need hours of cleaning. The motif is a common one of a hand pointing to heaven.
